2 weeks from today (Lord willing), I will be waking up in my bed at my parent’s house… in the USA.. nuts
I have forgotten to update so much! I guess I’m weaning myself from the blog, since when I get home I won’t bother with it haha..
After Paris, I:
went to the pool with Gill and got free food (bikini=ham and cheese sandwich, croquettas=fried ham and cheese balls, calamari, and fruit.. yum)
worked alot.. and got bored with work as always..
went salsa dancing with Carlos, Anna and Christina (the German girls, my ex roomie and Carlos’ roomie), and Nikolas (the Frenchie from my work)
went out with Anna, Erik, and his roommate Carlo (the Dutch boys) to a club and danced all night with some Brazilian guy
celebrated the night of San Juan with fireworks and drinks on the beach with a bunch of people.. lost my fav rainbow flip flop under the metro.. walked for atleast an hour barefoot, then headed home haha.. long story
went to the beach.. twice
went shopping and found.. nothing.. three times
this weekend:
went out to dinner with CoinEd people… 4 Americans and 5 Germans.. very interesting, I was in a bad mood so it wasn’t the best, then we went on to a ‘going away’ party for Christina’s sister’s friend.. (confusing, I know) at the beach and got ignored by the entire party… great fun. After 2 hours sitting in the sand, and at 1:30 AM, I went home..
went to lunch at a Peruvian restaurant with Gill and her Peruvian novio Jorge, met up with his friend Ricky, and ate for 3 hours.. it was delicious and I tried my first Pisco Sour, which was a very interesting Peruvian cocktail that people must either love or hate.. then went to the beach from around 5 until 8, then came home for dinner.. I wanted to go out (4th of July.. duh, I needed to celebrate America’s birth), but I got super tired, and my coworker Evelina gave me her cold so now I can’t breathe through my nose at all.. so I just stayed in and rested on my 2nd to last Saturday in Barcelona.. trust me, I know- major loser status
This week, I have to get alot of stuff done before going home, and see tons of things too.. Today I may go to the Picasso museum, Park Güell, Park de la Ciutadella, or Montjuïc. We’ll see what happens…
Then Thursday.. Katharine and Rebecca come! what a way to celebrate my last weekend.. so hopefully that will be fun =)
