So, long time no post (sorry again)
My weekend was relaxing, I slept alot and laid out on our terrace and stuff.. and went out two nights.. one I shared a liter-sized vodka tonic with a friend, then we walked around before I went home.. then the next night we went to this cute little bar called Azucar and met some really fun Spanish/French/African boys.. haha but all spoke Spanish so it was good practice and they were great =)
So.. then the rest of the week was fairly eventless…. gosh I’m a slacker.. I just went to work and have been going to bed early, I’ve been super tired for some reason.. not sure why
So 2 of the girls Victorija (Lithuania) and Maria (Austria) left work for good, but are still in the city. Bram (Belgium) leaves after this week.. and Katja (Finland) went home to get married in the court since her real wedding is in August in San Salvador (random, I know.. she met her fiance here in Spain.. cross your fingers for me haha).. BUT.. we got some new people too.. people come in and out of my company all the time since so many of the workers are interns.. so here’s the new people: Gillian- from Florida, goes to school in Colorado, going to be a 5th year senior, sort of ditzy (can’t speak barely any Spanish even though she studied abroad here last year), blonde, pretty, and nice Carlos- from Arizona, lived in Mexico for 13 years, speaks fluent Spanish (obviously), goes to school in Madison, Wisconsin (I know.. what a mix of accents huh?) but he’s SO sweet and frugal like me, and we get along really well, so that’s nice to have him there.. and he’s taking over my position so he’s been ”shadowing” me the last few days.. Nicolas- HOTTIE from France.. quiet but in that brooding studly way haha.. he’s totally going to sweep me away on his moped some day soon, I’m convinced..
Anyways.. I’m doing lots of new stuff at work.. working with clients and translating and helping out my ADD boss with whatever he wants.. so it’s all good now.. and this weekend Jordyn and I are going to be productive, even if it kills us..
Tomorrow night I have a birthday party then and going out with J. Saturday we want to go to Sitges (beach town) if the weather is nice, even though it’s supposed to be gross.. of COURSE since I wasted the last gorgeous weekend sleeping and laying around..ugh. We’ll see.. if it’s raining we’re going to see the Dali museum which is a 2 hour train ride away or so..
Hopefully in the next few weekends I’ll be back in PARIS to visit Sylvia, Ellen B. and Rachael.. so cross your fingers that that works out! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday (even with Monday off.. this week was long.. yet it flew by.. how does that work?) and the weekend is here again! <3 <3
