Last night was NUTS! My first true Spanish football (well…soccer) experience and it was definitely the biggest game ever.. Barcelona played Manchester United in the Championship game and WON 2-0. Jordyn and I went out to Maremagnum, this peninsula where they set up a huge screen between the movie theater and mall out there to watch the game… and apparently everyone and their mom had the same idea. There were atleast 10,000?? people there.. packed into a way-to-small, clearly poorly planned area. Everyone was decked out in Barca red and blue, and it was incredible. Even after being pushed and shoved and stepped on and squeezed between smelly men.. I still had a great time… and it was definitely a night to remember in soccer history!
Other than that, the week has been pretty calm.. just going to work 10-7, staying busy… I finally asked my boss for new stuff to do today, and got to take my first clients (two funny Irish guys) to their apartment.. and show them around and stuff. It was fun, even thought I forgot a few things (shh don’t tell). then I got to help this cute swedish/chilean/english-speaking girl Violeta answer customer emails and file stuff.. way more fun than writing freaking blogs btw.. which you should check out sometime and see if any of my hard work as paid off.. the links are:

PS.. 3 day weekend =) yay for Spanish holidays!! too bad I didn’t know so I could have flown somewhere… oh well, time to explore the city!
girl I really wanted to be where you are during the game. I think cameron was pulling for Man U but I was leaning towards Barcelona. I love Messi because he’s my height and super sweet (he scored the second goal : ) anyways, I am jealous of your location and I love and miss you!
