so the room switch went smoothly.. the handyman was fixing everything when I got home from work, moved the closet, and everything was peachy… i love my new room and am so glad to be in here instead of on a top bunk that creaks every time I move and makes me feel claustrophobic when I’m not..
The work week went well.. and fast, since I was so busy I didn’t have much time to think.. I’m doing so many different things and I hope it stays that way since I like to constantly change what I’m doing (which may not be so great for future employers)..
All my tv show finales were NUTS. and Kris won American Idol, which was great (I loved Adam but he’ll make it on his own for sure since he’s the next Freddy Mercury.. in my opinion), and I can’t wait for next season, as usual
Last night (Friday) I came home from work and hung out for a while. We had a temporary roommate for 2 nights named Amy from Florida, so Jordyn Amy and I went out for sangria and tapas by the Sagrada Familia.. it was delicious. The tapas were served with toothpicks on bread, and the sangria was strong but sweet and full of fruit…. just how I like it!
Then we went walking around the Born district a bit to find a bar… and along one of the roads ran into 6 of the tallest, best looking men ever. They were handing out cards for a club, even though in actuality they are Belgian tourists just here for a few days… and absolutely freaking hilarious. They made me laugh like never before… bought us all roses, then took us out for drinks at a club called Bikini.. which was SO much fun! We were out til 5 30 AM just dancing and laughing and having a great time.. before they got too tired and went home
today- hung around the house for the first time in Barcelona.. then went to the Barrio Gótico to shop a bit with Jordyn, and found the leather jacket of my dreams.. we’ll see if I go back for it.. and now we’re waiting to see what will happen tonight..
