Wow. I stink at this whole posting thing. Kind of like ‘writing’ in my journal. Well.. since my last post I have:

-Finished my exams (mostly a joke, atleast I should have passed them all, which is all I needed to do)

-Said goodbye to all my teachers and ISA directors

-Had my last few days with my Sevilla familia and said goodbye to them =(

-Said hello to my American familia and showed them around Sevilla

-Said goodbye to all my ISA friends, hoping to see them at some point in the future

-Left Sevilla and started on our journey up the coast of Spain

From Sevilla, we headed to Trujillo, where we saw a castle, bought candies from nuns, had the biggest dinner ever for 15 euros a person, and just walked around the cute little city.

Then to Salamanca, where my sis studied 2 summers ago, and saw her university, the cathedral, ran into Travis (a boy from Cali that was in Sevilla with me with ISA.. random I know), went to a nice dinner, went out with Travis, then went to Karly’s family’s place the next day and had the most delicious lunch ever.. Octopus (not my fav), grilled sepia which tastes like calamari (delish), chorizo and cheese, salad w/ brie and goat cheese and ham, bread, anchovies (gross), and tons of other stuff.. plus wines and desserts. They were hilarious and it was great to be able to speak in Spanish again after a few days of only English.. I’m not sure what I’ll do when I get ‘home’ to the U.S… ugh

On to Santander, where my roomie Kaeli from Granada was studying while I was in Sevilla.. it was gorgeous and right on the Cantabric Sea (I think that’s how you say it in English).. so I was happy to see the water again. It rained off and on for our time there, but we had good food, walked through a beautiful park by the beach, then I got together with Kaeli for a snack and dinner, and grabbed a beer with her afterward. We were walking down the street with her friend to a bar and ran into 4 random people on the street, asking for a discoteca to go dancing on a Wednesday night. 2 of them were like 6′ 4 or so and from Dusseldorf in Holland, one was a NY student from Sarah Lawrence studying abroad in London, and one was an unknown middle-aged man that spoke broken English.. went home early since of course I have some sort of sinus infection to travel throughout Spain.

Now we’re in Barcelona, it poured down rain when we got in but we had a delicious lunch of tapas and met some cute guys from Norway who invited us out.. we were too tired but they said they’d give us a call tonight..
